SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Confirmation Class Begin Soon. - Classes begin this fall for the youth of Immanuel who are entering 7th grade. Their parents should plan to attend a special meeting on Tuesday, September 11th, 7:00-8:00PM. Associate for Congregational Ministry Joel Shoop will share important dates about the Confirmation Class and give an overview of what the Confirmation expectations are. This meeting is for first year confirmation parents only. Please let Joel know if you have any questions or are unable to make this meeting.

This year classes are again on Tuesday evenings, 6:30 – 8:00 PM. We start with a meal at 6:00 PM. Those youth returning for their second year meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month beginning September 11th. Pastor Paul teaches this second year class. Youth who are beginning their confirmation experience (normally 7th grade) will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays beginning September 18th. Immanuel’s Associate for Congregational Ministry, Joel Shoop, teaches this first year class.

Confirmation Classes occur in a two year program normally in a youth’s 7th & 8th grade. Classes meet on Tuesday evenings, 6:30 – 8:00 PM and are taught by Pastor Paul and Associate for Congregational Ministries Joel Shoop. There is a gathering time with a light meal served by parents at 6:00 PM.
