The First Communion
Class prepares youth of the congregation to begin receiving Holy Communion.
The classes study passages in Scripture that help build an understanding
of what Holy Communion is. There are activities that help the youth grow
in appreciation for the gifts God gives in Holy Communion. And time is
devoted to the "how-to" of receiving Holy Communion.
Children in grade four participate in the First Communion Class. First Communion Classes are in the spring of each year and meet weekly for 4 evenings.
Spring 2008 First Communion Class
Begins Wednesday May 7th
A First Communion Class will begin following Easter for youth in grade four. This year the classes are:
| May 7th | 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. |
| May 14th | 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. |
| May 21st | 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. |
| May 28th | 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. |
| June 1st | First Communion Sunday at 11:00am service |
