Lord, we pray for your
grace upon the souls of those who have died in Hurricane Katrina. May
their souls rest in your peace. Bless also those trying to survive the
aftermath of the hurricane and help us find ways to help them in whatever
way we can. Help our nation and state governments provide our brothers
and sisters with water, food, shelter, and protection. Bless and guide
the leaders of municipalities as they rebuild their towns and cities.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we offer you our prayers of care and hope
for those we love. Amen.
